Game Day Competitions

On every sideline, in every halftime show, in every school across America… It’s Game Day! Go from the sideline to the spotlight!

The Game Day competitions were created to showcase what traditional cheerleading is all about — leading the crowd! The competition gives teams who traditionally don’t compete a chance to show how they rule the field and lead the crowds at their schools.

For this competition, there is no preparation needed — really! Teams can step off the sideline and into the competition. Teams will be able to enter three different categories: Game Situation/Time-Out Cheer, Fight Song and Band Dance/Time-Out Dance. All divisions have a time limit of 1 minute 15 seconds and include skill restrictions.

Divisions

The Game Time Competition is divided up into 3 divisions:  Game Situation/Time-Out Cheer, Fight Song and Band Dance/Time-Out Dance. Choose to compete in one, two or all three!
