Your Way Camps

These camps allow teams to select the routines and the skills they want to learn! They take place at a 3 day overnight camp location so teams will still get to interact with multiple staff members and teams, as well as receive the USA leadership classes and take part in rally night. This combines the options of a home camp with the overnight camp experience. It has a lower staff-to-student ratio than a traditional over- night camp and allows more individual attention and a customized schedule.

Elite Camps

  • Accelerated, more competitive edge curriculum with an emphasis on technical skill training
  • Lower student to staff ratio
  • Schedule also includes “Showtime” (mock competition), a daily stunt challenge(s) and an individual spirit/dance star competition
  • Pre-requisites to attend elite camps -- the entire team should have the following skills mastered:
  • Cheer:  Extension to cradle & Extended Liberty
  • Song/Pom:  Majority of team members must be able to execute the following skills: Second leaps; 1 eight count turn sequence including fouette turns and second turns; and be able to learn material at an accelerated pace.
Please see “What’s New for 2015” in addition to the items below!

AT ELITE OVERNIGHT SESSIONS:  Leave camp game ready with the addition of the “USA Time Out” Evaluation!  Elite Camp attendees will be evaluated on a Show Cheer (which is a combination of the Time Out Cheer followed by the Time Out Dance).

AT ELITE OVERNIGHT CAMPS:  Learn a Unity Fight Song that both Cheer and Song will perform together and be evaluated on.  This performance opportunity begins with a sample game situation that teams will respond to with an appropriate game-action, followed by the Unity Fight Song.

All teams are encouraged to bring signs, poms, megaphones, banners and flags to incorporate into their Game-Action/Game-Action Fight Song Evaluation.
